Revolutionary Youth Union‘s Quneitra branch organizes celebration on the occasion 48th anniversary of the October War

Quneitra, (ST) – On the occasion of the 48th anniversary of victory in October Liberation War, the branch of the Revolutionary Youth Union  in Quneitra organized on Wednesday a national celebration in the Ain Al-Tineh, opposite the town of Majdal Shams in the occupied Syrian Golan, which also witnessed a popular gathering on this occasion.

 The participants in the celebration raised national flags and chanted slogans that sing the love of the homeland and the heroism of the Syrian Arab Army. They affirmed the identity of the Syrian Arab Golan.

The Head of the Quneitra branch of the Revolutionary Youth Union Khalid Al-Khalid indicated to SANA that, the site of Ain Al-Tineh was chosen to hold the celebration to confirm that the youths of Syria, the descendants of the heroes of October, did not and will not forget their occupied land.

Rahaf Al-Jassem, a member of the Executive Office of the Revolutionary Youth Union, drew attention to the meanings of the October liberation war, which will remain in the minds and hearts of Syrians.

On the other hand, the people of the occupied town of Majdal Shams gathered to affirm their adherence to their land, to resist the occupation practices, and to stand firm until the liberation of the land.

The participants stressed the importance of commemorating October War at the Ain Al-Tineh site, in front of the Zionist enemy, to realize that the occupied Syrian Golan is in the hearts of all Syrians.
