Fierce clashes on Monday erupted between the Turkish-backed terrorist groups in the Syrian city of Afrin in Aleppo northern countryside as part of the continuous infighting over areas of influence.
Local and media sources said that clashes with machineguns erupted between terrorists affiliated to the so-called “Military Police” and the so-called “Unified Command Room Azem” in the vicinity of the towns of Al-Basouta and Burj Abdalu in Jindires area in Afrin city, north of Aleppo.
According to the sources, the clashes resulted in injuries among the terrorists from both sides. The injured terrorists were transferred to the Turkish territories for medical treatment amid tight security measures.
A state of chaos and insecurity has prevailed in the areas controlled by The Turkish occupation and the terrorist groups due to infighting between the terrorists over areas of influence and looted items and due to mutual assassinations.
