Chinese talks on enhancing joint cooperation

Dubai (ST): During his visit to the Chinese pavilion at the Dubai Expo, Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade Dr. Mohammad Samer Al-Khalil discussed with the Vice-President of the Chinese Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Commissioner-General of the pavilion, Zhang Xinfeng, ways to enhance joint cooperation between Syria and China in various fields.

Minister Al-Khalil praised the distinguished relations with China and stressed the importance of cooperation in all fields, whether at the governmental or private levels, indicating that China is Syria’s largest strategic commercial partner and that Syria encourages Chinese companies to invest in it.

Minister Al-Khalil expressed thanks to China for standing by Syria and providing humanitarian aid, in addition to training courses that benefit many workers in the country.

For his part, Zhang stressed the deep cooperation between the two countries and the need to enhance trade and investment between them.

 

Zhang explained that China considers Syria an important partner and cooperates with it in all fields.He expressed his hope of enhancing  cooperation and increasing and expanding partnership, adding that the Chinese pavilion at the Expo includes technology and artificial intelligence, and we hope to cooperate in this field.
