Palestine calls for ending the Israeli occupation, stopping the Israeli crimes

The Permanent Observer of Palestine at the United Nations Office in Geneva Ibrahim Khreishi  has called on the international community to assume its responsibilities and enforce the international resolutions on ending the Israeli occupation and stopping its settlement and judaization plans, particularly in occupied Al-Quds.

Wafa News Agency reported that during the 48th session of the Human Rights Council, Khreishi said that the Israeli aggression against the city of Al-Quds continues with the aim of Judaizing it through displacing the Palestinians and demolishing their homes, attacking the Palestinian sanctities and worshippers and carrying out daily detention campaigns and raids during which innocent people are killed.

He added that within the framework of the Israeli settlement plans, the occupation authorities seek to seize more Palestinian land and deprive the Palestinians of their natural resources through settlement expansion, settlers’ attacks on Palestinian properties, the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip for more than 13 years and through impeding reconstruction in a blatant violation of the international law.

He also noted the continuous suffering of the Palestinian prisoners in the Israeli jails where more than 4700 captives, including 200 children and 40 women, are held within harsh conditions, urging the international community and organizations to work hard to release the Palestinian prisoners and end the Israeli occupation.
