On September 29th, during their 4-hour meeting in Sochi, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed regional issues, especially the situation in Syria, Libya, Afghanistan and the Caucasus.
“ Presidents Putin and Erdogan discussed the agenda in the field of economy, international relations and regional issues, especially the situation in Syria, Libya, Afghanistan and the Caucasus, in addition to bilateral relations,” Interfax news agency quoted Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov as saying.
Peskov added that President Putin referred to the “successful interaction between the two countries on the situation in Syria and Libya, as well as the work of the ceasefire monitoring center in Karabakh.”
