Bashour: Unilateral coercive measures against Syria are unfair

Beirut (ST): The General Coordinator of the Association of Popular Committees and Leagues in Lebanon, Maan Bashour, reiterated his condemnation of the continued imposition of the unilateral coercive economic blockade on the Syrian Arab people by the US administration and Western countries.

 

Bashour said in a statement that the coercive sanctions imposed on Syria are unilateral measures unjustly taken by the US administration, not the international community.

Bashour referred to the strong historical relationship between Lebanon and Syria, stressing that this relationship is sovereign by all standards and considerations.
