The process of settling the status of a number of armed and wanted men begins in Tasil and its villages in Daraa countryside

Daraa,(ST) –  The process of settling the status of dozens of armed men, wanted men and deserters from military service, and handing over weapons to the Syrian Arab Army began today  Tuesday, according to the settlement agreement proposed by the Syrian state in the town of Tasil and the gatherings of Al-Bakkar Al-Gharbi, Al-Bakkar Al-Sharqi and Al-Abdali in the countryside of Daraa,

A SANA reporter said that, as soon as the settlement center opened within Tasil town center, the gunmen, wanted persons and deserters from military service flocked to the center to settle their situations and hand over the weapons to the army, in implementation of the agreement proposed by the Syrian state.

 In statements to SANA a number of the city’s residents expressed their satisfaction with the launching of the settlement process and the return of dozens of  families  to their normal lives.

Abd Al-Razzaq Al-Zoubi, one of the notables of the town of Tasil, said that settlements are a demand for the people of Tasil, because the state is like a mother to its children.

Ahmed Al-Hayek, one of the notables, also indicated that the town needed settlements so that security and safety would prevail, expressing his thanks to the Syrian Arab Army who laid the foundations of security and stability.

Youssef Al-Khalaf, one of the locals, also indicated that settlement is a national duty, expressing his thanks to the fruitful cooperation between the state and the dignitaries.

In the past few days, Daraa governorate witnessed similar status settlement processes, starting with the Daraa Al-Balad neighborhood in the city, the village of Al-Yadouda, the town of Muzayrib, and later in the city of Tafas and the town of Tel Shehab in the northwestern countryside, Dael and the Hawad Al-Yarmouk area, which also witnessed the deployment of units of the Syrian Arab Army and Internal Security Forces to ensure security, stability and the return of life to normal in those areas
