Damascus (ST): The Syrian Post Corporation issued a commemorative stamp on the occasion of World Tourism Day.
The foundation clarified in a statement today that the value of the stamp amounts to 350 Syrian pounds, noting that stamp collectors and those wishing to acquire the stamp can obtain it from post offices located in the governorates.
World Tourism Day is celebrated on the 27th of September of each year with the aim of raising awareness of the importance of tourism and its social, cultural, political and economic value.
