Kılıçdaroğlu: Erdogan has turned Turkey into a wreck

 On September 25th, the President of the Turkish Republican People’s Party, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, blamed the President of the Turkish regime, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, for causing the devaluation of the Turkish currency due to his insistence on lowering the interest rate.

 

The Turkish newspaper, Zaman, quoted Kılıçdaroğluas tweet about the Turkish Central Bank’s announcement of the interest rate cut that “Erdogan has turned Turkey into a wreck,”.

Kılıçdaroğlu indicated that Erdogan is afraid of running in the elections because of his certainty that he will lose, and that is why he made the Central Bank lower the interest rate.

It is noteworthy that a Reuters analysis last week indicated that the decision to cut the interest rate, after fixing it since last March, will be clear evidence of Erdogan’s intention to hold early elections.
