In implementation of the settlement agreement proposed by the Syrian State to restore stability to Daraa province, dozens of gunmen, wanted people and military service deserters in the villages and towns of Al-Yarouk Basin area have settled their legal status.
The gunmen arrived on Saturday at the settlement center in the village of Sahm Al-Jolan in Daraa western countryside, handed over their light and medium weapons to the Syrian Arab Army and settled their legal status.
Implementing the settlement agreement signals the return of normal life to this area, as those, whose status has been settled, will be back to safe life within their families and will be able to carry out their works normally within their community, a number of citizens told SANA.
They stressed that national reconciliation is necessary for restoring the security and stability needed to rebuild Syria away from foreign interference.
