OCCUPIED AL-QUDS, (ST)_Dozens of Palestinians in Tubas city in the West Bank have participated in a solidarity stand with the Palestinian prisoners in the Israeli jails, calling on the international community to intervene immediately to stop the Israeli occupation authorities’ practices against Palestinian  prisoners.

According to WAFA news agency, the participants in the stand gathered outside the doors of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) upon a call from the Commission for Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and Palestinian Club.

They raised the Palestinian flag, the pictures of the 6 prisoners , who are on a hunger strike as well as the pictures of the 6 Palestinian prisoners who had managed to escape  from the “Israeli” Gilboa prison before the  occupation forces were able to re-arrest them.

They handed a memorandum of understanding to the director of the ICRC Dema Mhajneh calling for saving the life of the six Palestinian prisoners, who were re-arrested after they had managed to get out from Gilboa  prison.

There are 5000 prisoners in the occupation jails. Some 550 of these prisoners need urgent treatment.
