Dozens of Palestinians injured as a result of the occupation’s suppression of demonstrations in the West Bank
Occupied Jerusalem (ST): Dozens of Palestinians were injured today as the Israeli occupation forces suppressed two demonstrations in the towns of Beita and Beit Dajan in Nablus in the West Bank.
Wafa news agency reported that the occupation forces fired bullets and poison gas canisters at the participants in a demonstration in the vicinity of Jabal Sabeeh in the town of Beita, in refusal to establish the occupation outpost on its summit, resulting in the injury of 5 Palestinians and 25 others suffocated.
Meanwhile, 15 Palestinians s uffocated as the occupation forces fired poison gas canisters at participants in an anti-settlement demonstration in Beit Dajan.
In the village of Al-Mughayyir, east of Ramallah, a number of Palestinians were injured when the Israeli occupation forces suppressed a demonstration.
Wafa indicated that the occupation forces fired poison gas canisters at the participants in the demonstration called by the Palestinian national forces, in refusal of the occupation closing about two weeks ago, the eastern entrance to the village, which led to a number of Palestinians suffocating.
The entrance, which was closed by the occupation, is considered an essential artery to connect the village with the neighboring villages and areas, forcing the Palestinians to take long and bumpy roads in their transportation.
