Syria has exported roughly €400 million worth of goods in seven months

DAMASCUS, (ST)_Syria has exported roughly €400 million worth of goods to 110 countries in seven months in 2021. 
 
According  to a report released by the Ministry of Economy and Foreign Trade, Syria exported 1.201 million tons of its products from January until July 2021 and the value of exportation hit  €400 million, compared to €57million during the same period in 2020. 
 
The values of goods that Syria exported to Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Egypt reached €79mln, €68mln, €59mln, €14mln, , €13mln and €10mln in sequence, representing 72% of the total value of exportations.  
 
The exported goods are clothes, vegetables, fruits, shoes, glass bottles, olive oil, spices, pistachios, clay soil, milk, cheese and soft drinks, according to the report, which indicated that the ministry offered facilities for exporting these products. 
 
The report asserted that ministry prepares a study on finding new markets for the Syrian goods and reaching new ways to uphold exportation.
