Opening specialized exhibition for communications and information technology in Aleppo

With the participation of 40 public and private exhibiting companies, the activities of the specialized communications exhibition “Expo Tech”, which is held by Thiqa Company for Exhibitions and Conferences, were launched on Wednesday at the Sheraton Aleppo Hotel and will last for three days.

The exhibition includes the latest programs, devices and modern technologies concerned with communications and ways of employing and benefiting from them in various industrial, engineering and information systems fields.

In statements to SANA reporter, Director of Thiqa Exhibitions Company, Waseem Nashed noted that the exhibition is the first of its kind specializing in the field of technology, communications and information after the liberation of the city of Aleppo from terrorism. He referred to the diversity of the exhibition’s fields and pavilions that deal with communications, Internet service providers and electronic payment.

 

The Branch Manager of the Syrian Telecom Company, Eng. Anwar Rahwan, said that the aim of participating in the exhibition is to make citizens and visitors acquainted with the package of advantages offered by the Syrian Telecom Company.

The head of the Administrative Committee of the Syrian Scientific Society for Informatics in Aleppo, Eng. Samer Alaya, pointed out that the pavilion includes the internet service provider, in addition to introducing the Society’s activities, which include new courses for children and adolescents about the robot and the applications implemented by the participating children in order to teach them how to control the machine and benefit from it in the future in national industries.

Engineer Mahmoud Youssef from “Jouri Tech” company for electronic payment, underlined  the importance of participating in the exhibition, which helps to give briefing on the services provided to citizens, especially those related to banks and the electronic payment to save them the trouble and shorten the time.

Eng. Khaled Askif drew attention to his participation in the exhibition through a team to provide Internet solutions, software, web design and applications, and digital marketing. He noted that these exhibitions contribute to Syria’s strong return to offering software service, in addition to exchanging experiences in the fields of communication and global technology service in light of the digital revolution worldwide.

A number of the exhibition’s visitors expressed their appreciation for the modern technologies related to communications and computer programs, which will be used in the future by electronic payment.
