Hundreds of Palestinians in Jenin city call for saving the life of the 4 re-arrested Gilboa prison-breakers
OCCUPIED AL-QUDS, (ST)_ Hundreds of Palestinians in Jenin city in the West Bank participated on Tuesday in a solidarity stand with the Palestinian prisoners in the Israeli jails, calling on the international community to intervene immediately to stop the Israeli occupation authorities’ practices against Palestinian prisoners.
According to WAFA News Agency, the participants in the stand gathered outside the doors of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) upon a call from the Commission for Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and Palestinian Club.
They handed a memorandum of understanding to the director of the ICRC Dema Mhajneh calling for saving the life of the four Palestinian prisoners, who were re-arrested after they had manages to get out from Gilboa prison.
There are 5000 prisoners in the occupation jails. Some 600 of these prisoners need urgent treatment.
