Relentless efforts exerted to bring back electricity to the liberated areas in Daraa

Maintenance teams at the Daraa branch of the General Company for Electricity continued with their efforts to bring electric power back to the neighborhoods of Daraa Al-Balad and Tariq Al-Sad and to camps in Daraa province after the Syrian army expelled the terrorists, set up military points in these areas and restored security and stability there.

Hani Al-Masalmeh, Director General of the electricity company, told SANA that the electricity network was massively damaged and maintenance operations need time to be accomplished, pointing out that the technical teams have been working over the past three days to gradually bring back electricity to the neighborhoods.

He called on the residents to cooperate with the electricity company to prevent attacks and looting acts against the electricity network.
