DAMASCUS, (ST)_A Memorandum of Understanding on developing the Arab agricultural situation, especially in Syria, was signed on Sunday by The Arab Center for the Studies of Arid Zones and Dry Lands (ACSAD) and the Federation of the Syrian Chambers of Agriculture.
According to the Syrian News Agency (SANA), the MoU provides for obtaining benefit from ACSAD’s studies and researches and exchanging experiences as well as holding training cources with the aim of making the best use of natural and human resources.
The two sides agreed on holding and attending joint conferences and workshops besides participating in field days that will be held by ACSAD.
The Chairman of the Federation of the Syrian Chambers of Agriculture Mohammad Kashto said that the memorandum will help overcome obstacles that face the agricultural sector in Syria.
