A Lebanese parliamentary bloc stresses importance of activating brotherly relations with Syria

The Baalbek-Hermel bloc in the Lebanese Parliament stressed the importance of activating the vital brotherly relations between the two countries, Syria and Lebanon, at all levels.

In a statement issued today, the bloc stressed that the visit of the Lebanese ministerial delegation to Syria is the beginning of breaking the US-Western siege on Syria and Lebanon. The statement underlined the importance of self dependence  by Lebanon to get out of the catastrophic situation it is going through, through courageous and daring sovereign decisions.

The bloc also expressed its hope that the new Lebanese government would speed up the necessary reforms and lay down the necessary plans and programs to re-launch the economy process, especially the product.
