A march organized in the countryside of Damascus in support of the heroic prisoners in the jails of the Israeli occupation
Damascus Countryside (ST): The Palestinian Jihad Movement, in cooperation with the Palestinian factions, organized this afternoon a march in Jaramana camp in Damascus countryside, in support of the heroic prisoners in the Israeli occupation prisons and in celebration of the Freedom Tunnel operation in Gilboa prison.
The participants in the march, which started in front of the Omar Ibn Al-Khattab Mosque, roamed the streets of the camp and reached the Thunderbolt Square, raised the Syrian and Palestinian national flags and pictures of a number of prisoners in the occupation’s prisons. They chanted slogans affirming support for the prisoners and solidarity with them in light of the violations and brutal practices of the occupation.
The coordinator of the Jihad Movement in Syria, Ismail Al-Sindawi (Abu Mujahid), called in his speech on the international community and human rights and humanitarian institutions in the world to oblige the occupation entity to apply the rules of international humanitarian law in its prisons and put an end to its racist policies and arbitrary measures against prisoners, stressing that national unity between the Palestinian people and the resistance is the only way to liberation and the return of rights.
In turn, the Secretary-General of the Palestinian Popular Struggle Front, Khaled Abdel Majeed, indicated that the march today confirms the interdependence between the people inside and outside Palestine and a sincere expression of the people of the camps for the support of the prisoners in the occupation prisons and the struggle of the Palestinian people and the continuation of the resistance until the end of the occupation and the liberation of land and prisoners.
