Russian Defense: A Russian soldier killed in an explosion targeting an armored vehicle in Homs

Homs (ST): The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the death of a soldier of its forces in an explosion targeting a Russian armored vehicle in Homs.

The ministry stated that the bombing targeted a car belonging to the Russian military police while they were carrying out reconnaissance activities during the passage of a humanitarian convoy in Homs Governorate, which resulted in the critical injury of a Russian soldier who was in the car, which led to his death despite the medical aid provided to him.

Russia has been participating in the war on terrorism alongside the Syrian Arab Army since September 2015 at the request of the Syrian Arab Republic. During this period, great victories were achieved and the terrorist organizations suffered heavy losses.
