Three teams from Syrian Scientific Olympiad participate in the Arab competition for future programmers in Jordan
With the participation of Syria, the competition for future programmers for secondary school students in Arab countries was launched today. The competition is held by the Applied Science Private University in Jordan, with the participation of eight Arab countries.
The Excellence and Creativity Authority stated that the Syrian Scientific Olympiad in Informatics is participating in the competition with three teams, each consisting of three members working on one computer in a one 4-hour round.
This is Syria’s first official participation in this competition, according to the Commission’s statement, as the Syrian Scientific Olympiad in Informatics is participating this year at the headquarters of the University of Jordan, the organizer of the competition. It is considered the first time that students of the Syrian Olympiad travel to take part in abroad competitions after a two-year hiatus from travel due to measures taken to tackle Coronavirus.
