US-backed SDF militia expels displaced families from areas under its control, north of Qamishli

A group of militants affiliated to the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) militia has expelled a number of displaced families, who came from different provinces to reside in Qamishli in Hasakah.

Local sources told SANA that under the threat of weapons, the militants forced a number of displaced families residing in Al-Qahtaniyeh town, to the north of Qamishli in Hasakah, to evacuate their residence places and leave the area.

The SDF militia is implementing a plan that aims at evacuating the areas under its control from displaced citizens for certain purposes that serve their own agenda and that of the US occupation.
