Awqaf Minister holds talks with heads of Muslim communities in Russia

MOSCOW, (ST)_The Minister of Endowments  [Al-Awqaf] Mohammad Abdul Sattar Al-Sayyed has held talks  with heads of Muslim communities in Russia on bilateral cooperation and coordination. according to the Syrian News Agency (SANA). 
 
The agency said that the talks were held on Wednesday on the sidelines of the International Religious Forum being held in Saint Petersburg city. 
 
The minister briefed the heads of the Russian Muslims’ communities on the programs of the International Islamic “Al-Sham” Center and training courses being held by the ministry for Imams to confront the causes of terrorism and extremism.
