Russian reiterates it firm support for Syria’s sovereignty

MOSCOW, (ST)_Russia has reiterated its firm support for Syria’s sovereignty, safety and territorial integrity, according to a statement released on Wednesday by the Russian Foreign Ministry.

The statement underlined that Moscow asserts the need to reach a peaceful solution to the crisis on Syria based on the UN resolution No.2254.

It in addition made it clear that achievement of stability in the region is connected with the achievement of stability in Syria. “Destabilization will lead to a dangerous situation at political and military level in the whole region.
