Commissioned by President al-Assad, ambassador al-Dandah offers condolences on the death of the Iraqi scholar Mohammad Saeed al-Tabatabai

Baghdad (ST): Commissioned by President Bashar al-Assad, the Syrian ambassador to Iraq, Sattam Jadaan al-Dandah, offered condolences on the death of the scholar Ayatollah Muhammad Saeed al-Tabatabai al-Hakim, the prominent religious authority in Najaf and the Hawza in Iraq.

 During the condolence visist, Ambassador Al-Dandah referred to the rich scientific career and the great intellectual legacy left by the deceased.

For their part, the Al-Hakim family and the Hawza in Najaf thanked President al-Assad for his condolences, wishing the Syrian leadership, government and people continued progress and prosperity.
