Daraa Education Directorate requests staff and students to join alternative schools

After the terrorist groups entrenched in Daraa al-Balad, the camp, and al-Sad road disrupted life within these areas, and the increase of the out of service schools as a result of the insistence of the terrorist organizations present in them to reject the settlement solutions proposed by the state, the Directorate of Education in Daraa Governorate requested the administrative and educational staff to join with their students in alternative schools.

Director of Education Manhal Al-Amarin said in a statement to SANA reporter that “the current conditions in the governorate have forced the Directorate of Education to temporarily accommodate Daraa Al-Balad school students within alternative schools in Al-Mahatta neighborhood and on an evening shift.”

 

The areas of Daraa Al-Balad, the camp and Al-Sad Road in the governorate of Daraa have witnessed tense security conditions for nearly two months as a result of the intransigence of terrorist groups entrenched within these areas and their rejection of all peaceful solutions and the settlement agreement proposed by the state. These groups continue their attacks on residential areas and military points with rockets and missiles.
