Syria to effectively participate in Dubai Expo 2020

DAMASCUS, (ST)_Prime Minister, Hussein Arnous, chaired on Thursday a meeting that dealt with the ongoing preparations for Syria’s participation in Dubai  Expo 2020 which will be held on the 1st of October for 6 months. 

 

The meeting focused on the role of public and private sectors in making Syria’s participation distinguished and successful in Dubai Expo as 191 countries are due to take part in this event. 

 

Syria will show its role in various economic, historic, cultural and tourism fields in line with the exhibition’s message “ Connecting Minds and Creating the Future”.

 

The premier underscored the need to exert every possible effort to achieve effective participation in the exhibition and to benefit from the economic and investment opportunities in it, as well as to enhance communication with businessmen who  will participate in the 6-month event. 

 

He expressed the government’s readiness to provide everything necessary for the success of the Syrian participation in the exhibition that will attract more than 25 million visitors , according to the Syrian News Agency (SANA).
