59 teams from different governorates participate in the 2021 World Robot Olympiad National Championship

DAMASCUS, (ST) – 59 teams from robotic clubs in various governorates participate in the National Championship for the World Robot Olympiad for 2021, which will be launched by the Syrian Scientific Olympiad Administration in the Excellence and Creativity Authority at the Ebla Hotel and Conference Palace in Damascus under the title “The Future of Energy”.

The Authority said in a statement, which SANA received a copy of that the championship, was launched today and will continue until the second of next September. It includes three competitions.

 The regular competition in which 43 teams were registered, divided into three age groups.

The second open competition, recorded 9 teams, while 8 teams were registered in the third competition under the title, “Future Engineers”.

This tournament is a qualifier to participate in the World Robot Olympiad, which will be held (remotely) next November.

The three competitions aim to expand the field of energy use by heading towards renewable energy sources (wind, solar and water energy).
