Prisoners Affairs commission warns of the deteriorating health condition of Palestinian hunger striking prisoner Alaa Al-Araj
The Palestinian prisoner in the Israeli occupation jails Alaa Al-Araj, who is on a hunger strike for the 23rd consecutive day, is suffering from a deteriorating health condition after he lost 30 km of his weight, The Palestinian Prisoners and Ex- Prisoners Affairs Commission warned in a statement on Monday, calling on the international community to pressure the occupation to immediately release him.
He is in urgent need to be taken to the hospital as he suffers from fatigue and he cannot stand, yet he insists on not suspending his hunger strike until achieving his goals
Six Palestinian prisoners in the Israeli occupation jails continue with their hunger strike in protest against the occupation’s continuous crimes against the captives, the commission said.
The prisoners are Kayed Al-Fasfous, Miqdad Al-Qawasmi, Ahmad Hamamreh, Ala Araj, Hisham Abu Hawwash and Raiq Bisharat.
