The Syrian Army retaliates against the terrorists’ attacks on Daraa neighborhoods, army checkpoints

Units of the Syrian Arab army deployed in the vicinity of Daraa Al-Balad neighborhood retaliated against the terrorists’ attacks on residential areas and army checkpoints.

The terrorists have escalated their attacks with rockets, mortar shells, machinegun fire, and sniper fire on locals’ houses and army checkpoints, provoking the army units to retaliate by conducting concentrated strike on the points from where the terrorists launched their attacks, the reporter said.  

The terrorist groups, holed up in Daraa Al-Balad have recently escalated their rocket and mortar attacks on residential neighborhoods in the city of Daraa in a  bid to impede peaceful settlement that aims at putting an end to the terrorists’ aggressive practices against the locals who are used as human shields by these terrorists, the reporter added.
