Two children martyred, their mother and brothers wounded in a mortar attack by terrorist groups in Daraa

A mortar shell fired on Sunday by terrorists on the town of Qarfa and the Industrial City in Daraa hit a house, causing the martyrdom of two children and the wounding of four members of their family including the mother.

A medical source at Daraa National Hospital told SANA reporter that the shrapnel of the shell immediately killed the two kids, while the mother and the other seriously wounded children were transferred to the hospital for treatment.

Meantime, a source at Daraa Police Command said that the terrorist groups positioned in Daraa Al-Balad fired a rocket on the vicinity of Al-Karaj Al-Gharbi area in downtown Daraa, causing material damage.

The source also said that two civilians were wounded while leaving through the Industrial City’s corridor in the north of Daraa when the terrorists positioned in Al-Nazeheen Camp opened fire at them to prevent them from leaving.
