Syrian Embassy in Beirut denies social media claims about the disappearance of so-called “Syrian activists” after entering the embassy

The Syrian Embassy in Beirut denied baseless allegations circulated by some social media sites about the disappearance of what they called “Syrian activists” who, as claimed by these sites, have entered the embassy and didn’t leave it.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the embassy urged those supervising these social media pages to adopt accuracy  and verify any information before posting such rumors.

The embassy reiterated that it is always read to work at full capacity to facilitate procedures for the Syrian and non-Syrian citizens while obtaining documents and to maintain the safety and security of all who visit the embassy.
