OCHA: Israel killed 5 Palestinians, injured 221 others in the West Bank over the past two weeks

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has stressed that 5 Palestinians were killed, 221 others were wounded, 104 were detained and 31 buildings were demolished in attacks by the Israeli occupation on different parts of the West Bank during the past two weeks.

An OCHA report covering the period between August 10th and 23rd said that five Palestinians were killed by Israeli occupation forces during search-and-arrest operations in the West Bank. The Israeli forces also injured 221 Palestinians during attacks on anti-settlement demonstrations in different West Bank areas, the report added, pointing out that 104 Palestinians were also detained during raids by the occupation.

The report clarified that 55 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli fire since the beginning of this year.

According to the report, the occupation demolished 31 houses as well as trade and agricultural facilities in occupied Al-Quds and several other West Bank areas, causing the displacement of dozens of Palestinians, including 14 children.

The report also indicated that the occupation forces razed an agricultural road in the village of Battir in Bethlehem, thereby impeding the arrival of 500 farmers to their agricultural lands.
