Terrorists in Daraa Al-Balad attack a Syria army checkpoint, a soldier injured

Remnants of the terrorist groups in Daraa Al-Balad neighborhood on Friday attacked a Syria army checkpoint in Al-Manshiyeh neighborhood in the city of Daraa.

A soldier was injured in the attack and was transferred to the hospital for treatment, according to SANA.

SANA reporter said that last night the terrorist groups positioned in Daraa Al-Balad intensified their attacks on the Syrian army checkpoints in the neighborhood’s vicinity. The army retaliated by targeting the source of the fire.

Over the past few days, the army units reinforced their points in Daraa to put an end to the terrorists’ control over some areas in the city. In parallel, the army provided the gunmen with a chance for peaceful settlement in case they hand over their weapons and stop attacking civilians and army personnel.
