Daraa: With the attempt to expel the first batch of terrorists who reject the settlement, shells were fired at the city’s neighborhoods

Daraa (ST): With the first attempt to expel the terrorists who reject the settlement from the neighborhoods of Daraa Al-Balad, Al-Sad Road and the camp, the terrorists attacked the neighborhoods of Daraa city with mortar shells, in a new attempt to disrupt all efforts and initiatives that were made to end the terrorist presence in the area and hand over weapons and restore normal life to it.

News reporter in Daraa stated that a number of buses entered the Daraa Al-Balad area to transport the terrorists who reject the settlement to the north of Syria. Thousands of displaced citizens from those areas gathered at the Saraya checkpoint, waiting for the terrorists to leave so that they can return to their homes, which they left under duress about a month ago.

Last night, the terrorist groups attacked with about 14 mortar shells Al-Kashef neighborhood, the industrial area, the fire brigade and the Gharz area, causing material damage to homes and infrastructure, and they also attacked with machine guns some checkpoints of the Syrian Arab Army.

At the same time, the Syrian Arab Army brought in this morning heavy military reinforcements, which included a convoy of tanks, heavy artillery, and troop transport vehicles that arrived in the city of Daraa to end the abnormal situation in the city and restore security and safety to it.

Army units had opened the Saraya corridor for civilians wishing to leave the areas under the control of terrorists towards Daraa al-Mahatta, and the state had prepared a temporary residence center with various basic supplies and materials to receive them.
