The SDF militia raided several villages and towns in the countryside of Hassakah

On August 22nd, the US-backed SDF militia kidnapped a number of citizens from the villages and towns of the eastern and southern countryside of Hasaka.

Local sources from the Qamishli area said  that armed groups affiliated with the SDF militias raided  the village of Marzouqa and kidnapped the imam and preacher of the village’s mosque, aged 65 years, and a young man from the village of Al-Suwaydia, seven young men from the villages of Suleiman Sari, Al-Qasimiyah and Qurtuba, and two young men from the village of Al-Qahtaniyah, and took them to its headquarters.

On August 21st, the SDF militias kidnapped 12 citizens from their homes in the countryside of Hasakah and Deir ez-Zor and took them to an unknown destination.
