Al Ba’ath Party in Lebanon condemns the Israeli aggression on Syria and Lebanon

The Regional leadership of the Arab Socialist Ba’ath Party in Lebanon condemned the Israeli aggression against Syria and Lebanon, calling on the world to put a final end to this prolonged abuse of the Syrian and Lebanese sovereignty and the international will.

The Regional leadership said in a statement today after a meeting chaired by Regional Secretary Noman Shalak: “The Zionist aggression has taken a very dangerous form by endangering the safety of civil aviation, which requires international organizations to put an end to it and stop looking at everything related to the Zionist enemy.”

The Regional leadership called on the Lebanese state, represented by all constitutional, ministerial, and institutional positions, to take a firm and decisive stance in the face of the continuing Israeli aggression, and not be satisfied with a useless complaint to the UN Security Council, but rather to coordinate positions and efforts between Syria and Lebanon at the Arab and international levels.

The Regional leadership also called for the widest national partnership to bear the burdens, each according to its capabilities and based on a coordination mechanism to address the aggression represented by attempts to starve the Lebanese people. They considered that this matter needs to be clarified to some parties so that they no longer have an ambiguous position.

The Regional leadership warned of the manifestations of security evasion taking place in Lebanese regions, calling on the army and security forces not to be lenient with those who try to re-evoke despicable scenes that the Lebanese people reject.
