Lukashenko: The events in Afghanistan exposed the reality of (democracy) in the West

Minsk (ST)_Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko stressed that the events in Afghanistan exposed the reality of democracy that the West talks about, and urged citizens to take a lesson from these events.

The Belarus news agency quoted Lukashenko as saying: “The West has shown us the essence of its democracy in Afghanistan. This is the so-called democracy that they are talking about, and they have shown its essence.”

“This is how we would have had in Belarus, if the West had carried out the blitzkrieg last year and then people would have expelled them in a few years and some would have stuck to the wheels of the plane and fly away from the country,” he added.
