Havana (ST)_ The Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the British ambassador in Havana, Anthony Stokes, and asked him not to interfere in Cuba’s internal affairs.
The ministry’s director-general for bilateral affairs, Emilio Lozada, wrote on Twitter today.”I reminded the British ambassador of the need to respect the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, which states in its Article 41 the obligation not to interfere in the internal affairs of the host country”.
On the 17th of this month, Stokes criticized Cuba’s implementation of Law 35, which regulates new guidelines for the circulation of news, information and communications technology, and cyber security.
