More than 36.000 new cases of corona in India and 23.000 in Mexico

New Delhi / Mexico (ST)_India recorded 36,571 new infections and 540 deaths from the emerging coronavirus during the past 24 hours.

According to the data of the World Meters website, the total number of infections in India reached 32 million and 358,829, while the total number of deaths reached 433,622 cases.

India ranks second in the world after the United States in terms of corona infections and third after the United States and Brazil in terms of the number of deaths.

In turn, Mexico is fighting a new wave of infections with the Coronavirus, with daily cases reaching record levels and the official number of deaths has exceeded 250 thousand, making it among the most countries in the world regarding the number of deaths caused by Covid 19.

According to the Mexican Ministry of Health, 23006 new corona infections were recorded, bringing the total number of infections to three million and 175,211, while the total deaths amounted to 251,319 after 850 cases were recorded yesterday.
