War correspondent Shahidi Ajeeb passed away

Information Ministry and Syrian Arab News Agency(SANA) mourned on Monday the death of the journalist and war correspondent Shahidi Ajeeb , who passed away this  afternoon after a long-term illness.
 
The late colleague was born in Nahr al-Bared village in Hama, and she worked as a war correspondent since the beginning of the terrorist war on Syria. She covered the fighting in frontlines in many regions accompanying the heroes of the Syrian army and documented their victories and sacrifices.
 
She prepared thousands of articles, news, and videos for SANA, in addition to messages via Radio of Damascus.
 
She was known for her love for her country, her dedication to work , and she continued to work even after her illness, as she resisted the disease with strength , according to SANA.
 
She continued her creativity despite the pain and difficult treatment sessions as the last article of her for the agency was on the 11 the of this month.
 
Ajeeb announced her illness on her Facebook account, saying: “ I am still sick. I consider it a personal suffering. I don’t want to announce it, but the pain journey is long… I do not know whether I will be recovered or not.”
