“Abu Rabah 24” gas well has been put into service

HOMS, (ST)_The Ministry of  Petroleum and Mineral Resources affirms that the “Abu Rabah 24” gas well has been put into service in  Homs, with production of 300,000 m3 of gas per day.
 
The Ministry said in a statement issued on Sunday that the amount of gas was transferred to the public gas transmission network, adding that the gas will be used for generating power.
 
On the 13 of July, the ministry put the “Deir Attieh 5” gas well in the north of Damascus into service after completing drilling operations.
