Terrorist groups continue their attacks on residents and Syrian army’s points in Daraa

DARAA, (ST)_ The remnants of terrorist groups in Daraa Al-Balad district and some areas in the western countryside of Daraa go ahead with targeting civilians and some points of the Syrian army while the Syrian state and army seek to deal with the situation there and to ensure stability and security through dialogue in order to protect the civilians from any hurt. 
 
According to an article published by the Syrian News Agency (SANA), some terrorist groups have attacked military checkpoints and buses carrying civilians in Daraa province in an attempt to abort all efforts being exerted to reach a settlement and to restore stability and security to the province. 
 
Daraa’s residents, who have returned to their houses several years ago amid the return of all services to the province, are suffering now from the practices of the terrorist groups. 
 
Abo Mohammad from Al-Sheikh Meskin city said that he returned to his work in his agricultural field 2 years ago after he was displaced from it for 5 years because of terrorism, blaming the terrorist groups and their western supporters for the failure of dialogue. 
 
Hosam, the owner of one of the shops in Al-Shohadaa Street in Daraa city said that the elimination of terrorism is the demand of all residents in the city as the terrorist groups want to establish a separate area for them and reject peaceful solutions. 
 
For her part, Em Adnan from Daraa city called on the Syrian state to put an end to terrorist groups’ attacks. 
 
Over the past days, the Syrian army deployed soldiers into several areas located near Daraa Al-Balad district to end the suffering of the residents and to restore security to the district.
