Mine kills two workers of Electricity Department in Deir Ezzour

Deir Ezzour, (ST) – Two workers of the Department of Electricity in Deir Ezzour province were martyred as a result of the explosion of a mine while they were repairing the power line of Al-Mayadin Al-Duweir in the eastern countryside of the province

The head of the Department of Electricity in Deir Ezzour, Engineer Muhammad Aliwi, said in a statement to Syrian News Agency (SANA) correspondent that while the Department’s workers were repairing the electric power line of “Al-Mayadin Al-Bukamal”, a mine, left behind by ISIS terrorists, went off in their car.

Before their defeat, the terrorist organizations planted mines and explosive devices in the places which were under their occupation and hid them in villages and towns and in agricultural lands to hurt the highest possible number of the people who return to their areas after liberating them from terrorism.
