Hasakah , (ST) – Turkish regime’s terrorist mercenaries have continued to deprive citizens in Hasakah from drinking water through controlling water pumping operations from Alouk Water station ,despite the fact that more than 10 days have passed since the station’s operation.
In a statement to Syrian News Agency (SANA) correspondent, Director of the General Establishment for Drinking Water, Mahmoud Al-Okla, said that there are currently 17 wells in Alouk station that are ready to be operated, but the Turkish occupier operates 6 wells and one pump in order to steal the electricity of the remaining wells and transfer this electricity to the headquarters of his forces and mercenaries and the places of their deployment in the region.
Al-Okla added that, “operating 6 wells and one pump is not sufficient, and the tanks in the stations may need a long time to be filled. Therefore, a solution must be reached through handing over the station to the workers of the General Establishment for Drinking Water.”
The General Establishment for Drinking Water, in cooperation with civil organizations and civil societies, continue to ensure drinking water to the residents through tankers from Nafasha and Tel Brak stations in Hasakah countryside.
