Preparations for holding a summer camp for Syrian children in Belarus discussed

Syria’s Ambassador to Belarus Mohammad Al-Omrani and Director of the Belarusian National Educational and Recuperation Center “Zubrenok” Nadezhda Onufriyeva discussed current preparations for the participation of the Syrian children, who excelled in their basic education certificate exams in Syria’s ordinary and martyrs’ sons and daughters schools, in the summer camp due to be held in Belarus this month.

The two sides affirmed the need to continue holding health recreational camps which have been held by the center for several years for Syrian children as a humanitarian initiative by the Belarusian leadership.

The two sides agreed on the importance of the humanitarian initiative towards the Syrian children who have suffered during the past years from the terrorist war imposed on Syria and the unilateral coercive measures that have affected the lives of Syrian children. They emphasized that such initiatives and activities are one of the examples that reflect the strong friendly relations between Syria and Belarus.
