Syrian women’s table tennis team beats its Egyptian counterpart in the Arab Championship

AMMAN,( ST) – The Syrian women’s table tennis team defeated its Egyptian counterpart  3-1 in the Arab Championship, which opened yesterday in the Jordanian capital, Amman, with the participation of 13 countries.

Syrian team for table tennis also defeated its Iraqi counterpart by three sets, while our juniors was defeated by Egypt’s juniors 0-3.

Hind Zaza, Anana Kurdish and Naya Suleiman represented the Syrian female team juniors.

The teams participating in the Championship were divided into groups, where Syrian female junior team was in the first group that will play with the teams of Egypt and Kuwait; while Syrian junior team plays in the second group play with Jordan, Iraq and Qatar, and Syrian male junior team competes in the first group with Qatar, Iraq and Egypt.
