A Syrian talented youth enters Guinness Book with a solo monodrama work in three different languages

The Syrian talented youth Anas Malek Shujaa has entered the Guinness Book of records after performing a monodrama work for three consecutive hours and seven minutes in Arabic, Spanish and English.

In a statement to SANA, Shujaa, who is currently living in Spain, said that he managed to break a world record, that has never been broken, through performing the largest theatrical show that depicts the life of a young man, who traveled to Europe because of the war in his country and who faced many difficulties.

Shujaa said that his work aims at  sending a message to all stressing that one can make a difference and achieve the best by his/her strong will and by investing his/her energy properly.

He pointed out completing the work required great patience and determination to reach the record time.

The performance was attended by a jury that consisted of a judge in the location and three others in a virtual format.  

After the show was completed, the jury approved the achievement of the record and the entry into the Guinness book with an official record holder certificate, he added, indicating that the new record number will be registered on the first day of next year.

 Shijaa, who arrived in Spain several years ago for studying, expressed his happiness over this achievement, stressing that he aspires to achieve more progress in acting and to be an international Syrian actor.  

Shujaa is currently preparing for making a film that will be shoot several months later.
