We will continue to revive the nuclear agreement, says Tehran

Tehran, (ST) – The Iranian Foreign Ministry reiterated that Tehran will continue to revive the nuclear agreement in Vienna.

“The important point in the Vienna negotiations is that, Iran will never leave these negotiations,” Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said in a press conference on Monday.

He stressed that his country will not accept anything less than the terms of the previously signed nuclear agreement.

Khatibzadeh stressed that reaching an agreement with Washington requires changing the failed policies pursued by former US President Donald Trump and return to the nuclear agreement.

Iran had participated in the negotiations to revive the nuclear agreement, which were held in the Austrian capital Vienna during the past months with the Five Plus One Group, with the aim of returning to the agreement signed in 2015.

Khatibzadeh indicated that, his country will not give up its rights in the field of security and will not accept any injustice towards the rights of its people and refuses to target its ships in international waters.
