Syria vehemently condemns false accusations made by Israel, US and Britain against Iran

Syria has strongly condemned the false accusations made by Israel as well as the United States, Britain and some western countries against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

With no evidence, the United States, Israel, and Britain have blamed Iran for last week’s attack on an Israeli-managed tanker off the Omani coast.

 “The Syrian Arab Republic vehemently condemns the fabricated accusations made against Iran by Israel, the US, Britain and some western states and stresses that these accusations come within the framework of the systematic campaign targeting the Islamic Republic of Iran,” an official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said on Saturday.

The source affirmed Syria’s solidarity with Iran in the face of these false claims and hysterical campaign, stressing Syria’s confidence in Iran’s ability to foil this renewed US and western attempt to target Iran.

 The source asserted that these false allegations won’t affect Iran’s national options and its constructive role in preserving the region’s stability in the face of the policies of the west and Israel that aim at disseminating chaos, fueling tension in the region, particularly because Iran has affirmed that it is not involved in the vessel incident and that Israel is the party which used to launch such attacks with the support of western countries and its allies in the region.
